Real Simple

I am loving my subscription to Real Simple magazine. And I especially like the August 2010 issue and the Three-Ingredient Recipes.

We took some time for a vacation, and headed to the lake for the week. So, we are trying seven of the  recipes.

I can tell you that the Peanut Ice Cream Sandwiches on page 190 are wonderful!  The three ingredients are:

Peanut butter cookies (I made mine 3")
Vanilla ice cream (1/2 pint)
Roasted peanuts chopped (1/4 cup)

These ice cream sandwiches are easy to eat while relaxing on the porch. I made some iced coffee to go along with our treats.

Thank you for stopping by!

Debbie

  6. I'm enjoying my subscription too. So many great ideas. Lots for dogeared pages! If I got the August issue I've miss place it! LOL Not a surprise :-) Those sandwiches look right up my alley. I bet they'd be great with my MILs Peanutbutter oatmeal cookies.
