Photo from blog:  How Sweet It Is

I happily discovered a delicious blog in October, and knew exactly what I would be making in the sweet potato category for our Thanksgiving dinner. Each year, I try a new sweet potato dish on my family. None have compared to the Cinnamon Sugar Hasselback Sweet Potatoes with an oatmeal cookie crumble. Here is the link to the recipe, and the photo from her blog came out wayyyy better than my rushed photo, so I've included it.

For you cooks out there, I'd love to know if you tried anything new for Thanksgiving and if you would make it again. These sweet potatoes will be on our menu every year as long as I am hosting.

I am taking the day to rest up for a shopping trip to Destiny USA tomorrow. We're getting there early before the crowds (ha ha), and my main goal is to hit Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, and a few stores for Christmas gifts.

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. The potatoes look delish...How were the crowds at Destiny today? Did you happen to see the kiosk that sells olive oils? I have been working there a few hours a week (but not today!)

  2. Mmmmm the potatoes look like something we'd love to try. I'm glad you had a great Thanksgiving and I do hope your shopping trip was a good one and that you found some terrific bargains. XO

I'm so happy you decided to stop by my blog. Please leave a comment as I enjoy hearing from each and every one of you!
