A Happy and Healthy 2013 to You

Here’s to a Fabulous 2013! Our New Years Eve party plans changed due to our dear friends being called to help out with their family in California, so we will be curled up under a pile of quilts relaxing at home after a busy holiday season.

I found this idea on Facebook a while back, and I am going to implement it in our household for 2013. A nice way to start the New Year. Wishing all you sweet and thoughtful friends a Happy New Year! A heartfelt thank you for your comments, inspiration and sharing of ideas and recipes.

Let's try it! A gratitude jar filled with memories...

  1. This is a great idea, Debbie. We'll be curled up at home on New Year's Eve too. ;-)

  2. Great minds think alike! I found that same idea and we are going to be doing it as well.

Wishing you and Joe and wonderful and Healthy New Year!

  3. Wishing you and Joe a Happy, Healthy New Year, Debbie.

  4. That's such a fun idea, it would really make next New Year's very special! Happy New Year Debbie, wishing you all the best in 2013:@)

  5. What a perfect idea, Debbie! Enjoy your Happy New Year cuddled up with your sweetie. Thanks for your special friendship this year. XO

  6. Sorry to hear you didn't make it to NYC...We are having a lazy NY Eve here...all the kids leave tomorrow morning and it should quiet down here - this has been a very hectic holiday for us and I am looking forward to being snowed in for a few days after everyone leaves!! Happy New Year to you and Joe!

    1. Patti, we did go to NYC and loved every minute of it! The only plans that changed, are for New Years Eve. But we will enjoy the quiet evening.

  7. Great idea, Debbie! What a wonderful way to reflect on the positive things. I love it.

Our New Year's Eve plans changed slightly when the host couple got invited to fly to the Rose Bowl to watch our Badgers play. Luckily, the rest of us are going to get together anyway :)

Happy, Happy New Year to you and Joe, Debbie!

  8. The jar is a great way to honor memories most of us probably forget in our day to day lives. I hope you and your family have a wonderful 2013. Happy New Year to you and thanks for visiting my blog. I'm glad you and your husband enjoyed the gingerbread soap dispenser this year!

  9. Our plans are for a quiet night this year too, as the hubby plans to go skiing early on New Year's Day. No one else is on the trails! Happy New Year to you! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your interesting posts. Linda
