Brrrr...And We're Back from the Big Apple

The sweet little Juncos in our backyard are all bundled up with their scarves on. While we were away, it snowed 14". The temperature is going to dip down to 12 degrees tonight. Brrrr.

To think that there were roses blooming in New York City on my daily walks last week.

Today we started the new year with some snowshoeing with friends at Valley View golf course near our house. I am making a funny face because it was soooo cold.

Here we are on a a visit to Mackenzie-Childs in New York City. It is so beautifully decorated, and I could move right in.

From left to right. The tree at Rockefeller Center, window at Tiffany's and my favorite cupcakes from Magnolia bakery.

I couldn't resist taking a photo of this sandwich that was on display in the window of a restaurant in NYC. Love USA ;o) In the family photo, from left to right - me, Joe, Meshal, Nick and Cory. And a tree from Mackenzie-Childs.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy New Year!
Debbie

  4. Hi Debbie, It looks like you had a wonderful time in NYC. I have never had cupcakes from Magnolia but I keep hearing how delicious they are! I'll have to get some next time I'm down. I'm also looking forward to seeing the new Mackenzie-Childs store. I saw some photos on their website of the construction and I see from your photos that it must be beautiful now. Happy New Year! 5. You even have a black and white checked scarf :) What a fun time you had :) Love the pictures! We had that c-c-cold weather on New Year's Eve. Thankfully, a warm up is one the way.

  6. Debbie,
I've always wanted to go to New York City. I hope to go with the girls one day. It looks so beautiful at Christmas all lit up. I love seeing your snow pictures, as I don't see it that often here in sunny California, unless we go up in the mountains. Those cupcakes look so yummy. Have a lovely weekend.
