S'mores for Memorial Day Weekend

It's that time of year again when our weekends consist of s'mores over the camp fire and watching the busy hummingbirds while doing yard work. Aren't the spring days the sweetest ones to play outdoors? We opened up our camp for the summer season, and the forget-me-nots are so prolific this year. I picked several bouquets before Joe mowed the lawn where they were popping up everywhere.

Memorial Day is the official start of Summer.
Don't burn the hot dogs!

  5. I still love s'mores, Debbie, and I'll bet they taste extra special at your camp. The forget-me-not bouquet looks so pretty in the red enamel cup. Happy Memorial Day to you and Joe!

  8. If you do burn the hotdogs, Debbie, save one for me! I love the black crunchy parts! Glad you saved all those pretty forget-me-nots before the mower came around. We used to do that when I was a kid, racing ahead of my dad to pick dandelions or anything we saw. Thanks for reminding me of those happy times. Have a great weekend! Linda
