MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale 2016

What can I say.....I am married to the BEST barn sale shopper EVER. We have so much fun, and Joe enjoys it as much (if not more) as I do. If he didn't go with me, I would save a LOT of money.  As soon as we get through the "gate", he takes off and heads for the tents while I shop in the Enamelware Barn. We both have different experiences, and share our stories on the drive home. If you're interested in the MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale, I would recommend going on their Facebook page to see all the photos.
This year, we filled four paper shopping bags (they give these out when you are waiting in line).
As always, the property is gorgeous and we only waited in line for an hour and 15 minutes. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Each day they have an additional 20% off on specific items and typically the sale is 50-70% off.
This is the entrance to the beautiful farmhouse which has tours.
Joe managed to get his photo taken in the Courtly Check frame that the barn sale girls in the pink shirts were walking around with. Social Media :-)
I want to sit here.
And here.
Oh my, look at the time--it's a quarter to chic! The "timing" was right and I decided I would like a new watch.
Here's most of my purchases. Lidded containers, small bowls, wallet, pitcher, paper plates, ribbon, butterfly placemats, potholders, soap dish, bunny with basket and some children's items for gifts.  Some items they had a ton of (brooms and lamp shades) and other items went quick. Like this Courtly Check rabbit but they brought more out on Sunday.
A beautiful day for the barn sale! Just 360 days until the next barn sale.

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Fantastic, Debbie! Love the bunny you scored and, of course, the pedestal. I'll have to go back now and see if I spot Joe on FB on the frame. I was looking for you. :) How fun that your guy is your partner in dividing and conquering!

  8. "Only waited in line for an hour and 15 minutes", yes you are definitely married to the best barn sale shopper ever. I don't know what my husband would wait that long for…perhaps to see a Formula One race in Europe. :D It looks like the two of you were very successful with your shopping.
