On Wednesday, I'll be sharing some beautiful tablescapes from a charity event that I attended over the weekend. You won't want to miss it!
In the meantime, this is a repost of beautiful table settings that were donated by their designers and sponsors for a charity event that I attended in 2009. Each table was available for bid or outright purchase throughout the "Come To The Table" charity event. The annual event benefits the Peacemaker Program which is actively engaged in the prevention of child abuse.

I'll start with one of my favorite table designs created by my son Bryon's girlfriend (Alissa) and her mom. They did an outstanding job, and bought the dishes at my favorite dish store, Oneida.

What a great event! I bet it was so much fun to see all of these gorgeous table settings. Black and white does seem to be a theme..at least with the photographer :-) Your son's girlfriend did a beautiful job. That would be a favorite with me too! The scrabble one is cute and the green one really caught my attention. I think that St. Patrick's day party got me fixated on green!! lol
ReplyDeleteMy hospital does a similar fundraiser (Festival of the Trees) except with Christmas Trees decorated to the hilt. Most of them also have extra prizes attached...like a Harley Tree might have a real Harley along with it! Or a San Francisco one would have a trip to SF with it. It's a big community draw though just to pay to see them..like your great event. And then they auction them off. Thanks for taking us along
Debbie - you must have felt you were in heaven!! I liked the black & white also...all were unique in their own way.
ReplyDeleteReady for tomorrow post..
Lots of creativity there!
ReplyDeleteI love Alissa and her mom's table. I saw other black and white settings but theirs was the best with the theme carried through with the black and white balls, napkins and beautiful stemware.
I love this. I would be there all day gawking!
ReplyDeleteI notice some plates that I have seen in HG too!
Alissa and her mom did a great job!! Perfect..
Can't wait for the next installment!
Debbie, how wonderful to be able to support an organization that is working for such a great cause.
ReplyDeleteThe tables ettings are all gorgeous and very detailed.
My favorites are the fun ones ... San Francisco and Scrabble.
How fun these tables are...what inspiration you must have gathered just viewing them. I agree with you..my favorite was Alissa & Tina black and cream, followed by the black & white signed, sealed & delivered. They are all gorgeous and such creativity in putting them together.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great fundraiser! hard to pick a favorite, but I love the black and whites, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Debbie, looking forward for the next installment!
