Birthday Table

The beautiful white napkins, dragonfly napkin rings and place mats were a recent birthday gift from my children.

There are several shades of green on the place mat, one of which is the same color green as the vintage looking tumblers.

Pier One sent me a $15 certificate in the mail for my birthday, and I had a $5 rewards certificate as well. So, I'm saying the four green Vintage Flower Tumblers  were my birthday gift from Pier One ;o)  My total order came to 44 cents.

Thank you for stopping by! I'm joining Let's Dish with Cuisine Kathleen and Seasonal Sundays with the Tablescaper.

A Day With The Girls!

An early birthday celebration with the girls yesterday! My wonderful friends arranged for a girls day and drove me to the most charming Village of Sharon Springs where peace and quiet beckons. It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop! The quaint shops and the employees were just so sweet! We started the day with breakfast at the Black Cat Cafe where I enjoyed their white omelet (egg whites, tarragon and goat cheese).

Sharon Springs is renowned for its unique architecture dating back to the time when the village was an internationally famous health spa.  I think I read that the population is somewhere around 500+ now. So quaint!

Here we are at Beekman 1802 Mercantile.

And here are my wonderful friends, waiting for breakfast at the Black Cat Cafe.

The Fabulous Beekman Boys were busy making goat cheese at the farm, so we didn't get to meet them. They have their own TV show on the Green Planet Network.  They are two guys from New York City that bought a farm in Sharon Springs (upstate New York), and have a herd of goats and produce the most amazing artisanal goat cheese and soap. I have never tasted anything like their goat cheese. I bought a sixth month supply!

I just want you to know that I wore a black and white top so I would coordinate with the decor at the cafe and the Beekman Mercantile. LOL
Thank you for stopping by!
