The beautiful Mr. & Mrs. cardinals outside my kitchen window have given me inspiration for my tablescape this week. Surprise, surprise.....more cardinals ;o)
During the bleakness of winter, the cardinals are the constant color at our feeder.
And who could pass up a bargain on these cardinal plates. You know you wouldn't be able to resist them either. One of my favorite locally owned gift shops was having a sale on their Christmas items last week. A 75% off sale! They only had two dinner plates and four salad plates but I am content with a table for two. The plates are made by Park Designs and called "Cardinale". I love the wide, textured rim on the plate
A while back, I found a Petite Waffle maker marked down to $10 at Tuesday Morning so I grabbed it in a "heartbeat". It's a deep pocked waffle iron, so I made Belgian waffles. You can mix additional ingredients into the waffle batter, so I tried raspberries with good results. I also kept some plain and froze them for a quick breakfast. Anything heart shaped tastes better anyways.
We have a two tiered glass cart that we use on our back deck when dining al fresco, so I bring it indoors for the winter and use it to set up tablescapes in our sun porch.
The black and white table runner that I received as a gift is getting a LOT of use. Last week, it was used in the rooster tablescape.
Thank you for stopping by! I love reading your comments!
I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for
Tablescape Thursday. What a wonderful host Susan is!
