I found this baguette plate at a garage sale a few years ago for less than a dollar, and have been looking for a second one. The bottom of the plate says Bella Casa, Cheektowaga, NY. It fits nicely on the rooster salad plate.
The black and white rooster plates hopped in my cart at TJ Maxx the other day. I was exchanging an item from Christmas, and didn't have the receipt, so off to the dish department I went.
The dinner plates have a wonderful scalloped design with tassels.
The layers consist of Pinzon chargers (bottom), MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check, and Rooster plates.

ReplyDeleteStunning black & white pieces and I love the table runner as well. I can see where it inspired you. I will keep an eye open for your baguette plate.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite colors. I love black and white. and I love roosters and I love your whole setting. Your runner is beautiful. thanks for dropping in with your kind comments.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Debbie, put together so well! Nice gift from your friend! I'll keep my eyes open for the baguette plate, too, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to have those rooster plates hop in my basket too. The black and white is so striking and happy all the time. Love the checked plates and the runner is so full of motion. Joni
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful. I love all the black and white.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful black & white table!! I love your layers & patterns~ I'm partial to your Courtly Check :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat an eye catcher! Everything looks so crisp and inviting..love the runner and how you have tied everything together. Will be on the look out at TJM for your baguette plate.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, Debbie. Your rooster plates are gorgeous. They look like the same dishes Kathleen has only in black and white instead of red. I love the little rooster in the MC colander ;)
ReplyDeleteDarlin', this is absolutely to die for. I love every single thing on this adorable table. The little hen really caught my eye, too.:)
ReplyDeleteYou might need to check your link over at The Porch..I couldn't get it to work for me. Could be me, tho. :)
I love the black and white. The little hen is beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love all the different patterns that you used here. That's the beauty of black and white. The more patterns the better.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your rooster in the centerpiece. The little touch of red in there is perfect.
This is a table worth replicating.
What a beautiful table! I love the rooster plates, very pretty-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, you setting is fantastic. I love black and white and this is done so perfectly. I am glad I haven't been to TJ Maxx recently. I would have wanted those plates too, especially the dinner plates. I love the checked pattern on them. They all look so great with your McKenzie Childs. Beautiful tablescape!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely...I am so attracted to B&W and I love how you use your strainer...you have encourage me to pull mine out of the cupboard and display it (I have only used it for berries, so far). My new task is to paint 12 gold charger plates in B&W, to mimic M-C - I have a M-C Wish-List and they re not on the top, so this will hold me over!
ReplyDeleteLove the Black and White theme. Very striking.
ReplyDeleteLove the runner and the plates! They are the same as the red check ones I have. I didn't know they came in black. If I ever get out again, I will have to look. I had to go to 4 stores to get enough of the red. I wish the salad was paisley like the ones Marigene sent, which are also the same. But the red ones have a rooster...not fond of roosters! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat little table, Debbie!
Debbie, this is just an adorable tablescape. From the roosters to the black and white MacKenzie Childs plates, it is all as cute as can be. Love your centerpiece, too. Amd the runner your friend gave you sets it off to perfection.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
I do like roosters and your plate are great. Must check out tj maxx. the runner makes it all work. Very nice
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm not a fan of roosters, I enjoyed your tablescape! Love what Mackenzie~Childs does with everything! Your dinnerware and chargers are elegant! I, especially, adored your black and white table linens! One of my favorite combinations are black, white and green. You can be assured that I 'll visit again, soon!
Fondly,
Pat
The black and white is so dramatic. Love it!
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
I do love black and white, and those rooster plates are great. Isn't it funny how things just leap into your cart when shopping at TJ Maxx? I have the same problem! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe table runner looks excellent deb!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I like them so much more than the red/white ones. I saw those at TJMaxx a couple weeks ago but they only had a few so I passed, afraid I wouldn't find enough to do a table...will probably regret not getting them.
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie, LOVE your table..."EVERYTHING"... I'll keep my eyes open for that dish for you, It is Charming and you should have a few more!!! I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check, AND just about EVERYTHING else of theirs. I REALLY LOVE your strainer, it's SO CHARMING!!!

ReplyDeleteOh I really LOVE those rooster plates - they are so charming with that fabulous border on the dinner plates. the MC plates are a great combination with the rooster plates. I received the exact same table runner from a very dear friend of mine! I thought I was reading the words from my blog when I read about your table runner. Great tablegscape. laurie
ReplyDeleteDebbie, needless to say I'm crazy about this table setting. Hadn't seen this pattern in the black. Now I'm going to be driving myself crazy till I find myself a set of the black. Love this!!!
ReplyDeleteI've already joined up as a follower and added you to my blog roll. I do think I'm going to be hanging out here from now on. I'll be coming back for return visits to these fabulous settings, especially if I can't find a set of my own. LOL

I've missed a lot on your blog! You've been busy while I"ve been a slacker lol. LOVE LOVE LOVE the black rooster plates. Some red ones and some blue ones JUST like them hopped in my buggy a few months ago too. Black wasn't an option or it would be in my cabinet too!
