As a tablescaper, I always look forward to the next holiday that I will be hosting. Half the fun for me is in the planning. I have file folders for each holiday, and throughout the year I add to it when I come across something I might like to include in my tablescape or menu.
I know, I know, St. Patrick's Day is next to celebrate. But I needed to play with my new Easter plates that just arrived. I wasn't even thinking about Easter until I looked at Pottery Barn's catalog last week. The new catalog featured their Easter collection, and I began to oogle over the white bunny plates. Love the dotted edges!
The simplicity of the new white plates makes them very versatile. I chose to pair them with colorful Mackenzie-Childs dinner plates, and the white bunny really stands out.
I used chargers that I bought at the Christmas Tree Shoppe a few years ago. I've been looking for more for friends and have not found any.
Last year, I bought some rabbits on sale at Tuesday Morning and just found them in my Easter box. I had forgotten all about them. Do you ever do that?
In that same Easter box, I found some little wooden Easter bunnies that I picked up at my neighbor's garage sale. So I played around and made an Easter tassel to hang from the door knob. In less than 30 minutes, I had plenty of Easter fun.
With this post, I am joining Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
On March 15, Cuisine Kathleen will be hosting her third annual
St. Patrick's Day blog crawl. I'll be getting out the green, and hope to see you there.
