A beautiful Easter it was!
My mom brought us an Easter basket that was shared with our family members that came for Easter dinner. Mom said the lime green wrappers matched our Easter decor :o-) Joe is off from school this week, and we've planned some day trips to the Finger Lakes and the Adirondacks. So I left the Easter decor up until we return, and am joining Cuisine Kathleen for "Let's Dish". If you celebrate, I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
Is there anything prettier than the first bursts of color in spring?
When I set the table, it reflects my passion and personality. In my garden, the Lenten rose is the first to flower in early spring, around the period of Lent. It's also known as Lenten hellebore or oriental hellebore. They are excellent for bringing early color to the garden and the table.

ReplyDeleteThis is the first year, ever, that my hellebores bloomed during lent! Most years they bloom at the end of April or beginning of May. Yours are beauties!
Wow, those deviled eggs are so brightly colored, I've never seen them made like that, it looks really cool!

Debbie~ I adore Lenton Roses! My MIL has a huge bed of the white variety but your rose shade is gorgeous! Hers bloom around January~February so they're spent now, but I love seeing them! That shade of apple/lime green is one of my favorites and so springy :)
