The antique wheelbarrow has been in our family for at least 70 years, and had layers of paint on it. I primed it, and then painted it white and added black and white checks. I'm storing it away for a few more weeks, and will add mums, more pumpkins, and display it when we enjoy an occasional fall weekend at the lake.

We have been spending weekends at the lake since May, and for us, Labor Day weekend means our summer is over. Joe starts school on Tuesday, and even though he looks forward to the paycheck, his carefree days are over until next June.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful restoration! It looks terrific. Good luck to Joe at school :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, you are sooooo talented! The restoration is wonderful. You're going to have so much fun decorating it for Fall or any season, for that matter!!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I like your wheelbarrow, it looks much more fancy than the old rusty green one in our garage. Wonder what your grandfather would think of his wheelbarrow sporting a fashionable new look? I bet he or whomever it belonged to would say it looks great! Good luck to you and your husband getting back to the "new, old" schedule. ------- Shannon
