We surround ourselves with what we love. Much of the fun comes from using items that have meaning. This tablescape was inspired by a black and white table runner that I received from my dear friend Paula.
I have received so many lovely gifts from beautiful friends over the years, so I'm going to start featuring them on my blog from time to time.
Once in a while, I check the stats on my blog. It tells me what is popular, and these rooster plates with Mackenzie-Childs chargers are very popular. The plates have a wonderful scalloped design with tassels.
The layers consist of Pinzon chargers, MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check, and Rooster plates.

Very very very cute♥

ReplyDeleteDebbie that is one lucky rooster to be sitting in a MC strainer! I love how classy your table is all in black and white and MC everywhere.
ReplyDeleteBesides the gorgeous table, I am drooling over the Clambake and cupcakes on your sidebar!
I had to laugh about Grandpa reading the comments because he did the next morning and loved all the attention!
Those rooster plates do look beautiful on the MC chargers, Debbie! I love the rooster sitting in the colander too :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Debbie! I can never see an M-C without thinking of you :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I saw this when you posted but didn't have the opportunity to comment. I have the same dishes in red and have looked for the black since seeing yours on a previous post. Finally found a set of bowls. I'm eager to set a table featuring them, so thanks for the inspiration. Cute runner. Have you seen the new McK-C toile and CC table linens?
ReplyDeleteThe rooster plates are perfect with the Courtly Check. This is a very cute table, and I like the rooster in the CC colander.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful runner and table. It all goes so well together! I too have the plates in red, and a few in violet that Marigene sent me. I have never been able to find 2 more place settings to add to them.
