The Winter Solstice begins at 6:30PM with 9 hours of daylight. We go up from here! The light will return to us again!
My Christmas wish for you, my friends
Is not a simple one
For I wish you hope and joy and peace
Days filled with warmth and sun
I wish you love and friendship too
May you count your blessings, one by one
And when totaled by the lot
May you find all you've been given
To be more than what you sought
May your journeys be short, your burdens light
May your spirit never grow old
May all your clouds have silver linings
And your rainbows pots of gold
I wish this all and so much more
May all your dreams come true
May you have a Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year, too ..
I decorated my mantel with nutcrackers, just like I did in 2011. Each year the mantel is different, but the nutcrackers is one of my favorites and all I had to do was pull the box out of the attic.
I am joining A Stroll Thru Life for Inspire Me Tuesday.
Thank you for stopping by!
Debbie

Thank you for renewing our get togethers. It's amazing what one little word can do.
We do enjoy those chubby, full trees best. I actually put more ornaments on it after I took this photo a couple weeks ago. This was the year to organize the Christmas ornaments in the attic, and I didn't realize how many I had. So many beautiful ornaments given to me by such loving friends and family, and I displayed every single one of them on the tree this year!
DeleteI love taking them out and remebering:)
