{Sunday}
It's a balmy 28 degrees here today, and I just cleaned my mirrors and windows with club soda and a lint free cloth. Works great.
My mom's Pyrex bowl {my favorite} is being used to bake bread.
I have been using this tin container (for bread flour) for a decade.
My favorite green glass measuring cup takes up residence in the flour.
A geranium in bloom! I brought it indoors for the winter and it has started blooming. Spring is just around the corner.
I use this when I forget to wear gardening gloves :-)
I found this on AOL this morning....
We will paint flowers on the snow to get us through this long winter in New York!
Sweet gerber daisies from my son for Valentine's Day.
I made a few of these mason jar vases for our upcoming Key West dinner party to warm up our friends :-)
MacKenzie-Childs has done it again.
I ADORE these new cupcake containers.
Sweet, sweet paper napkins ;-) I think I'll be tucking one in my lunch tote from time to time.
I love this idea. Three of my friends and I will be sharing our travels with the "Traveling Tote Series." {soon}
Thank you for stopping by! I am joining Share Your Cup Thursday.

I love this favorite things..I did that for a while..wonder how I FORGOT? Like which tulips and where:)
ReplyDeleteI love that Pyrex..the gerberas..the green glass..And MC because of you and Susan:)
It was a balmy in the 20's here too..Our weather is so similar!
Believe me, I forget things too and then one day it hits me ;o) I used to tease my friend who is a teacher because she had post-it notes all over her house! I think I need to do that now.
DeleteHi Debbie and I liked reading about your favorite things too! I'm in love with that Pyrex and have 3 of that same pattern and color. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Sheila, I'd love to have a whole shelf of those sweet Pyrex bowls. All colors ;-)
DeleteI like your favorite things
ReplyDeleteThank you Gina. I love your style and will always think of you when I see a squash blossom necklace.
DeleteI enjoyed reading about your favorite things, Debbie. Your Mom's Pyrex bowl would be at the top of my list, too. It's a beauty and a sweet reminder of her. I'm also intrigued by your traveling tote series and think I've figured out the friends involved. That should be fun! Key West is coming up and your "attitude" will definitely improve. I hope you have a happy week. xo
ReplyDeleteSweet memory of your mom with that bowl! I am sure you are missing her so much!
ReplyDeleteI see you have your wish list for MC , maybe for your birthday Joe wil treat you.
Have a good work week. Stay warm and watch the ice!
I love your favorite things posts and I can see why they are. Painting the flowers on the snow…love it as our snow piles are way taller than I am. :)
ReplyDeletePatti painted flowers in her snow banks too. Such a fun, clever idea! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your favorite things - the pyrex from your mom, geraniums and gerber daisies, and of course the new patterns and items from McK-C. The traveling tote is going to be loads of fun. CC and I need to get moving or you and Miss Aurora are going to leave me behind. I'm thinking a ranch night is in order, but the weather needs to warm up first. '-)
Stay warm!
Loved seeing your favorite things, Debbie! That pyrex brings back great memories...my grandmother had plenty! What a great idea with the traveling tote. I bet that would be a lot of fun!!
ReplyDeleteI thought at first your post was inspired by Lady Gaga singing songs from Sound of Music at the Oscars :)) I love your favorite things. Your mom's pyrex dish is so pretty, along with the flour tin, flowers, and MC - oh my I love those cupcake holders too! Can't wait to hear more about the traveling totes :)
ReplyDeleteSusan, we've named our traveling totes:-) Mine is Miss Aurora.
DeleteWho else is playing the traveling tote with us?....mine had a stressful day...we got lost, holistically graded over 80 essays, hotel room had a broken heating system, tomorrow will be a better day!!!
ReplyDeleteMy non-blogging friend Colleen is joining us. I bet Miss Kenzie was a good traveling companion:-)
DeleteWhat great things to share with us. Absolutely love the new MC cupcake papers, straws and more. Especially their amazing dishware. xo
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the stand and all the MC goodies! They have just the right touch of whimsy and elegance! I can't wait to hear what the Traveling Tote means - sounds fun. Isn't it fun to have things you have used and loved for years. I ended up with my mother's flour scoop - no big deal, it just had years and years of memories. I wonder what my kids will want and remember! Have a wonderful weekend! I can't believe the snow. We have had none this year - weather in the 50's all January and February. We will be in trouble in the summer with no water though!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, love your favorite things! A few of them are mine as well. I have three pieces of the aqua Butterprint Pyrex and I love it! I also recently found a green depression glass measuring cup at an estate sale. From what I can tell, looks the same as yours. I often start out with gloves and end up without. Need to look for that cream. And happy to know about this water! MC cupcake liners, how fun!! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
