I told Joe he should remove the storm door on the front of our house so we don't have the glare when taking photos. He just smiled.
Our lil punkin Xavier went to the Pumpkin Junction. His first time seeing pumpkins :-)
Now look at that beautiful dahlia that is huge and blooming right now in my garden. I have declared it my favorite flower of the summer. I order the bulbs from Swan Island Dahlias and was very pleased. They are still blooming and a frost is predicted for tonight.
Each year I show you mom's pumpkins..she was the master :-)
"When you do it with heart, that's art!"
Your entrance looks beautifully decked out in Fall decor, Debbie! Just look at your adorable little Xavier at the pumpkin patch! I always love seeing your dear Mom's pumpkins that she lovingly carved. Congratulations to our friend, Linda, for winning the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteYour front looks so welcoming:) I always love seeing your mom's pumpkins♥
ReplyDeleteAnd I am happy Linda won:)
That little pumpkin is the cutest.
Debbie, I love seeing your Mom's carved pumpkins. What a treat! They are so much fun. The Dalia is lovely...so large and gorgeous in the garden. How sweet lil punkin Xavier went to the Pumpkin Junction. Thanks for the giveway Debbie. Enjoy your week. xo
ReplyDeleteLove you entrance- you did a wonderful job with your display! Those pumpkins your mother made were fantastic. What a fun legacy she left!
ReplyDeleteYour entryway is so festive...love the MK pumpkins. Thanks for posting your mother's carved pumpkins, again...it is fun seeing them each year.
ReplyDeleteAdorable Xavier is getting so big!
What a great display your mom did! Your front entry's gorgeous, Debbie, with the combined effect of the pumpkins, gourds, mums, and added bling of the MC pumpkins. Congrats to Linda. Enjoy X's first Halloween. :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I don't think I ever saw your mom's pumpkins but they are amazing, and what a wonderful way to share her talents by giving them to family members. Xavier will look at them in the future and hear about his great-grandmother too. He is adorable sitting there with his pumpkin, and looks delighted. Your front porch is gorgeous too! I hope you picked the dahlias before the frost came. Linda
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful entrance, Debbie (even with the glare from the storm door - LOL)! I hated cutting down my dahlias last week as they were still blooming also. I dig up and store my tubers each year and I've read they need to get as much energy into the tuber as possible before digging them. What great memories of your mother's pumpkins! Enjoy your little punkin this Halloween :) Congrats to Linda!
ReplyDeleteI accidentally viewed your blog and I was so amazed with your work that it
ReplyDeletetouched the deepness of my heart and it made me sentimental. Thanks for posting.

Deb, I love how you transformed your entrance to welcome fall, just gorgeous. Of course I love the MC pumpkins. Nothing sweeter than babes sitting among pumpkins. We have those photos from our grandson about that age. They enjoy it as much as we do! How special your mom's collection of her carved pumpkins. Really amazing. Congratulations to Linda .................
ReplyDeleteLucky linda!! I always love your pumpkin posts and i think it is so special that you all shared these...I am sure Mom enjoys her view, looking down at all of her special carvings! Do you leave your MC pumpkins outside on your porch all the time?
ReplyDeleteI put the MC pumpkins out only when we are home and never in the rain....lol
DeleteHi Debbie, i had to come back again to see the porch and your Mother's creative pumpkins. After all, it's Halloween. Truly a great post and so many memories. Thanks again Debbie.
