Celtic Salt - A Giveaway

Before I dart into the Celtic Salt, just wanted you to see how pretty snow can be. LOL
I can refer back to this picture in July to cool me off! This is our zoo which is a lot of fun for the kiddos. 
I have been using sea salt flakes for over ten years. Shortly before remodeling my kitchen, I joined the "Garden Web" and they had several informational groups including the Cooking Forum. On the Cooking Forum, you could ask questions, share recipes, etc. and several of us became friends (long distance). One very experienced cook introduced me to sea salt flakes.

Fast forward to 2018, I was delighted to review Selina Naturally® Products and celebrate the taste and experience of natural gourmet Salts from around the world. I've included a picture of the items I received, from the Naturally harvested Celtic Pink Sea Salt® , to the FOSSIL Salt Line.

Selina Naturally Products from Spain comes in a variety of three different categories of salt. To make this salt, with its ultra-fine, diamond-like crystals, it is extracted from underground rivers and then deposited in saline pools where the water is gradually evaporated, leaving all the minerals intact. A first to the market low sodium liquid spray salt. 

I reviewed three of the products so far, and would like to offer a jar of salt to one of my readers so they can also see how wonderful this salt is. Below is a picture of the Flocons De Sel rose-seasoned salt for salads. It is not only a beautiful color, but is amazing on buttercup lettuce with a spray of olive oil and balsamic. Ooh la ha, thank you La Table de Nana for letting me know about the sprays that you loved in Provence. I found them on Amazon, and they are wonderful. 
 The second of these River Salts is a Flaked Flavored River Salt, Salt Flakes®, a range of spice-infused salts that enhance the flavors and textures of every dish. Available in five flavors, Balsamic Vinegar, a detoxing Charcoal, Grilled Meat, Aromatic Herbs (all purpose), and 5 Peppers. 

The last but not least are the gourmet flavors, Flocons De Sel®, these salts make any cook look like a chef, with their exotic flavors. Available in Nutty Smoked, Seaweed, Sesame Wasabi, Szechuan Pepper, and a Rose and Wine that looks like fireworks on the grill.

  1. I think snow is so pretty too:) I won't enter because shipping a jar to Canada is $$ but I will look for these and in the US.I love salt..specifically though in the last 10 yrs..I do use sea salt flakes..thos pink ones..are beautiful♥Perfect VDAY salt;)

  7. I would use that every day. I almost bought some pink sea salt during Christmas just didn't know which was best , now I know.
    I'll go out to a local health food grocery and look around.

  8. I'll be seeing more snow while at mom's, Debbie! I guess we'll be getting more this weekend. As for sea salt, I've never used them. I've used sea salts, but not the flakes. Your salad looks so pretty!

  11. I am a big fan of finishing salts, but I don't think I"ve ever tried one that was salt flakes...I am intrigued by the olive oil and balsamic sprays, what an outstanding idea for salads! I put them on my Amazon list, can't wait to try, thanks Debbie!

  13. I use French sea salt but have not used sea flakes before. Such interesting flavored ones...they would certainly be fun to use.
