I've been hopping all over this month of March and this bunny needed a vacation day so she could play with No Bake Easter Bunny Bark and getting the table set for our crew. I broke up the bunny bark and put into small Easter gift bags with a window so the bunnies could peek out.
Joe has the Good Friday holiday off from school, so we were able to coordinate our schedules. I better hop to it since we are also hosting Easter on Sunday and thankful that my two sisters and nieces have offered to bring several side dishes. I am making salmon for Joe since he dislikes ham. And I'm hoping it will look as pretty as this.
When I saw these Bunny Lollipops, I knew I wanted to make one for Xavier. I may also put a few on the Easter table as well. I better get hopping as I have made only one so far!
My wonderful co-worker is leaving me after 31 years! Boy do we have memories of attending sales meetings in several states. I think my favorite was the Dude Ranch in Lake George, NY when my horse's saddle came loose and I was hanging on for dear life. We were in our 20's when we started with the company, and I am going to miss seeing her at work every day. I know she is only a text and phone call away, but I will truly miss seeing her beautiful face. I still can't believe she is leaving but am very happy for her.
For those who celebrate, I wish you a very blessed Easter!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteYour bunny bark looks so pretty, Debbie. I'm thinking of making some more, too. I'm having salmon tonight for dinner, as I don't eat meat on Fridays during Lent. I know you'll miss your co-worker...31 years is a long time to be with each other. Your Easter tray is gorgeous. Happy Easter to you and Joe. Have fun with Xavier!

ReplyDeleteDeb, I hope your weekend is joyful, even among all the busyness. I can't wait to hear about Xavier' s excitement over the holiday.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad when friends leave. You'll have to find a way to be able to keep the friendship alive until you're both in retirement.
Happy Easter to you & your family.
It’s nice you and Joe could coridinate your schedules. I’m sure your home will be filled much excitement with little Xavier and Easter traditions. No, it’s not the same when one of our co-workers leaves. Sounds like you two made lots of fun memories. Happy Easter Deb. Tell Joe we send him Easter greetings too..............

ReplyDeleteOh the see through bunnie bags are great, and so are the bunny lollipops! I know I spent so much time in the kitchen playing with food - it was so fun though!
ReplyDeleteYour table is adorable. I told Patti that I had said to hubby that I have to invest in more MC so I can belong to the club! What a collection you ladies have!
You know I love your table, Debbie ;-) All of your Easter treats are so adorable. We didn't celebrate Easter with my Littles this year as they were in Florida with their other grandparents but having everyone his next Saturday for a triple birthday bash. We'll do a belated egg hunt then :) I'm sure everyone loved Easter at your home!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I hope you had a joyous and special Easter celebration with your family! Sounds like it was a big group which is always so much fun. Those bunny bags are great! I did decorated paper bags for takeaways instead of baskets this year and we grilled filets of beef on the grill! Then it snowed! I'm with Joe on the Ham issue. Whenever I ask my family what they would like for Easter dinner they say "not ham" and that's the only request! :) I'm sure yours, like all your creations, was delicious! Linda
