Can you believe that the Eastern Prickly Pear Cactus can tolerate winters in our Zone 5?
I'm concerned my loofah plant will not produce "loofahs" before the killing frost hits in October. I have shown you a loofah that I bought at the farmers market just in case.
September has been spectacular in many ways.

Deb

September really has been beautiful as seen by your pictures, and it has been here too. That loofah is cool. Was it because you planted late that you may not get loofahs? I did that with hyacinth bean vine one year. I just stuck the seed in the ground....I should've started it as a seedling inside a bit sooner.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower photos, and I love the velvet pumpkin vignette! You and Xavier picking apples is a priceless memory...who knew you could grow loofahs, good luck!

I spotted Xavier's shoes right away too! ♥ What beautiful photos, Debbie. I love those velvet pumpkins with your MC. We've had 50-50 weather here. Half beautiful and half rainy and chilly. We've had a gorgeous week but we drop into chiller weather starting Monday. As long as the sun shines, I'm happy :)
