If you're looking for an easy appetizer, our dinner guests really enjoyed the Boursin cheese spread served with crackers. The recipe served the four of us and there was none left. You can check out the original recipe at Kitty at Kitty's Kozy Kitchen.
- 1 Boursin Spreadable Gourmet Cheese
- 2 teaspoons milk
- Roasted Raspberry Chipotle sauce (I used strawberry jam with a few splashes of Tabasco chipotle pepper sauce)
- chopped pistachios
- Hot Honey drizzled for garnish (everyone liked this)
- crackers
I've been attending a beading class offered by the Shako:wi Cultural Center twice a week, and we're making a Tuscarora-style raised beadwork bird. I have beaded for 30 hours thus far, and the wings and tail are almost done. The seed beads are tiny and thankfully the lighting is very good. I'm so glad I found out about this class on Facebook, and our instructor is wonderful.

Top left photo is of Harper's 5th party which was fun! Top right photo is of Claire's student of the month certificate, and the bottom photo is Joe enjoying his birthday cake with whipped cream. Basketball season just ended and it was a pleasure watching Xavier compete. He's been snowboarding this week while on the school's winter break. What a fabulous February it has been!
My family is in the early planning stages of a Fourth of July celebration at camp, so I asked ChatGPT to decorate our camp for the gathering.
