This solitary sunflower inspired our table setting this week. In May, several sunflower seeds were sowed in our backyard, and the squirrels did a happy dance proclaiming "Bon Appetit". All the seeds were dug up, except for ONE. So this was worth a celebration!
The table has been set to honor the solitary sunflower that brings much joy to our table. I also picked some Rudbeckia for the table. Most of my table settings are inspired by what I see out the dining room window in the garden. I added a Pfaltzgraff salad plate and Pinzon charger to complement the flowers.
The green vintage glasses are from Pier One, and have a floral design which reminds me of sunflowers. I posted about the great .44 deal I got on the glasses here.
I am blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. This sweet grapefruit sugar bowl from Anthropologie, with the sweetest of all bluebirds on top, was a birthday gift. Thank you Pam~
