If you are here for the first time, a warm welcome to Mountain Breaths. Today I am joining a group of talented bloggers to bring you our "Fun in the Sun" with our Traveling Tote. As I sit here typing, it is evident to me that we pack a lot into our summer living here in the Northeast as summer's always too short. There's better time to have fun and life life to it's fullest than August which happens to be my favorite summer month. Goodbye July...you have been wonderful.
In May we thought we would never have summer as our spring was wet and cool. But on the first day of summer, everything changed. For us, it has been a delightful summer so far. Joe and I often eat our dinners at the patio table on the backyard deck, and the tote has gone to many summer outings including the Brad Paisley concert. Some guy asked if I was into racing. lol
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the summer fun we had at the MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale. I know many of you have seen my photos on Instagram, and I appreciate you following along in our adventures. This was my 13th barn sale, and Joe and I won a challenge to "Skip The Line" this year. I raced to the furniture tent, and located a chair for the living room immediately (there was only one). So I sat in the chair to claim it, called Joe on my cell asking where he was lol, and to please flag down a staff member so they could put a sold tag on it....all while another shopper telling me that if I didn't buy it, she wanted it. It's my favorite purchase.

Have you been able to get out into the garden, to the beach, farmer's market, maybe dining al Fresco, having picnics, attending pool parties, BBQing or maybe even attending a concert? We attended two concerts at our favorite concert venue ampitheater where we see the most beautiful sunsets on the water - enjoyed Brad Paisley and Heart very much.
