Every Wednesday, I'll show you some dish related things. Usually a table for 2 and occasionally the whole crew will be here, so it will be a table for 6, 8, 10 or more.

Everything outdoors is experiencing a rebirth, and I was looking for ideas to bring Spring into our home when I found the sweet Chalkboard Garden Pots on The Robin's Nest blog.
I used my Easter 2008 clay pots that were painted light blue, and then painted them with Chalkboard Paint that I found at Walmart.
Herb pots are going to be my next project, but this week I tucked a plastic pot of hyacinth bulbs into each of the clay pots. Then labeled one of the pots with Bloom.
I only have two of Avon's Martha and George Washington cameo glasses. Joe found them at a garage sale, and surprised me with them. I need to change my ways, since my first reaction was "I really don't need any more glasses". But they are a beautiful color blue, and they are on our table this week to brighten up the room for Spring along with a beautiful blue bird feeder that was given to me by a special friend.
My little Target salt and pepper birds are perched on sunflower seeds at the bird feeder. Those Target birds were very popular in blogland a while back.
I love when new cookbooks are published, and this one just came in the mail. It's from blogger Fifi O'Neil, and is filled with nice recipes. The banana bread recipe is a winner, so I photographed it in case you'd like to try it.

How sweeet of Joe to buy the glasses for you - he's a keeper :) I have a whole set of Lenox blue colonial, pedestal stemmed glassware in my attic that was our first crystal when we were married :) Oh my gosh, I just looked and someone on Etsy is asking $220 for 6 glasses!
