. My friend Colleen made a beautiful gift for our friend Paula's birthday by taking an old bottle, added some bling, filled it with flowers and brought it to GIRLS weekend at my camp. My wheels were turning this morning, so I used a teeny jar, an old necklace, some ribbon and an owl pin. Take any bottle or jar, give it a little bling and add flowers
My creative husband saw me adding bling to my little jar, and suggested I put some colored water in an old bottle of his, and use it for a vase. I love it, and love that he shared it.
And then he offered more bottles from his collection, and I put some blue colored water in them. This is my view out the window. So much prettier now!
P. S.
A lake shot from our girls weekend. There are five of us that got together at my camp to celebrate the June birthdays. There is nothing like a girls weekend :-)
Thank you for stopping by! I'm joining You're Gonna Love It Tuesday and Stonegable's TTT.

So pretty, I just love little jars and vases filled with colored water and I love the blue that you chose for yours. I hope you have a wonderful night!

That is such a pretty idea!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie I am over from Kathe's. This is such a neat idea. I collect cobalt blue bottles so don't need the colored water but I sure got an idea for outdoor lights. Love it. Pop over for a visit in my neck of the woods.
