Hop right over to my cabbage and carrot patch where flowers are blooming despite our lingering winter temperatures. I've harvested some Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage dishes, and paired them with Oneida carrot plates. A very different color combination for me, and I really like it. Orange is not just for Halloween. A few years ago, I got 12 orange plates at the Oneida Outlet in Sherrill, NY for 10 cents each. I used my Pinzon plates/chargers that several of us bought several years ago when there was a good deal on Amazon.
The bunnies are hippity-hopping since they know Easter is on its way, and a little birdie looks ready to nest. I made several nests and clay eggs to be used at a later date for a spring dinner party.
.
The speckled peep is enjoying the nest, and dragonfly napkin rings are frolicking in the grass.
The 60th anniversary Peeps are my favorite in the Peeps family. The Vanilla Creme is really good, and I love the little freckles. I bought them at Target a while back and resisted eating any until I set the table. Now they are sold out ;-(
I am happy you stopped by! If you have time to chat, leave me a comment so I know you were here and can visit you. I am joining the great hostesses Cuisine Kathleen for Let's Dish, Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday and Rattlebridge Farm for Foodie Friday.

Beautiful Easter table, I love orange and green together, it is a color combo in my home. I am an orange girl all the way (citrus fruit, can't get enough of it this season!). I have to check my Tarjay for those peeps, I want to save them!! xo
ReplyDeleteI love the orange and green, great price on the plates! Your bunnies are too cute too-Happy Easter Week:@)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute easter table!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your garden patch, Debbie! What a deal on the orange plates. Woo hoo!! Don't they look great with your cabbage plates?? Your nest with the peeps are wonderful. I made one nest and helped a granddaughter make one, too. Have you ever put a peep in the microwave and watch it grow?? I love doing that!! I need to check my Target to see if any of the special peeps are left. All your little bunnies peeking about your table look like they're joining in on all the fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, dear friend. xo
The colors of Easter always make me feel that spring can't be far behind. This is beautiful!

I ♥♥♥ your table...it is my favorite Easter table! I agree, orange is not just for Halloween...I like using it in the summer, too. 10¢ a plate...what a deal!
ReplyDeleteI have a funny story about Peeps...I thought for the first dozen years we were married that Howard loved them...he finally told me after years of buying lots of them that he hated them...it was chocolate covered marshmallows that he loved!
Happy Easter to you and Joe!
I thought long and hard about adding my Bordallo chargers to the mix in my Easter tablescape...Your design is so special, I may have to go back and add them after all. So much eye candy here...and so much fun! The orange is a genius choice...carrots unite! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Happy Easter! Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteNot being a real fan of pastels, I was drawn right in to your linky pic at Kathleen's LD! I would never have thought of orange and green but it totally works - like a carrot patch! All of the accessories you've chosen go so well! Happy Easter!

Ten cents each??!??!?!?!?!!! I am Hulk green with envy right about now!!! What a deal, Debbie! I love orange, and I use it at least 3 seasons of the year. It's one of those colors that comes in a variety of shades that differentiate between warm and cool weather months, so it's a staple in my dish closets! It looks absolutely Spring-y paired with the bright green of the cabbage plates & bowls! This is a perfect and very colorful Easter table that I don't think anyone could resist! The brilliant color makes it so great!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, sugar plum! Enjoy your weekend!
