ReplyDeleteThat pie - oh my! Love all the photos, especially the water app use.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you loved the pie, Debbie! It is the perfect summertime dessert. You waterlogue pics are so patriotic and gorgeous! How sweet of you to donate those white wicker chairs to your friend for her front porch. Good friends do that, don't they? Hope you have a great week, my friend. xx
ReplyDeleteOh I love your Waterlogue photos! I've got to do that more often, so cool! Love your patriotic tote too Deb!! Save me a piece of pie please :)

Debbie, the pie looks yummy! I love the way you decorated the strawberry with the whipped cream topped with a blueberry. Going to remember that one! I also like the darling horseshoe sandwiches. Adding that idea to my Derby Day files. One of these days I'll have a Derby Day party. Ha! Love that your group has a tradition with the races.
ReplyDeleteI'm a patriotic girl! We fly our flag daily, and my brother was born on Flag Day. Long May She Wave is my favorite book on flags. I was lucky enough to be in NYC for the 4th of July celebration in 2000. It was an amazing event with the Tall Ships Parade and many other special things across the city. I happened upon an amazing exhibit of a flag collection that was in the AIGA National Design Center. It was titled Stripes & Stars A Graphic History of an American Icon. It happened to be Kit Hinrichs' collection. That was in 2000 and his now famous book was published as a result. I saw that his collection was on tour a few years ago, but not anywhere near me. I'd love to see it again. I have the poster from the exhibit that we had framed and hung in our NY apartment. I like to bring it out for summer holidays. I need to get organized and do a post on this topic again. Thanks for the reminder. '-)
The pie looks yummy! I love playing with the Waterlogue Ap - your pics are so cute! Happy Flag Day!
