A Beautiful World

I have such dear friends, and they've shared their sunsets with me over the last year. I  receive random messages....Hey Deb, did you see the magical sky tonight.....Hey Deb, are you watching the Full Moon rise...Hey Deb, I am in AZ and thought you would like to see our sunset tonight...Hey Deb, did you see the beautiful sky this morning...they share photos of them on their boats and hiking....Hey Deb, I think it is blue hour.

Half of these photos were taken by me, and the rest were shared with me over the last year. I am a photo hoarder on my phone, so I went through all the photos and put together a collage. I am using these collages on my desktop computer as my screen saver.
My morning routine {each spring} is to enjoy my morning cup of coffee while reading about the local Peregrine Falcon (Duck Hawk) that nests on a tall building in our downtown area. A nesting box was provided for the falcons once it was discovered they were making downtown their nesting site over the years.  It is equipped with "technology" so we can watch the mating process and then see the eggs hatch. Praying you all are well, and peace and health abounds very soon.

Hello, I'm Debbie.I enjoy hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the Adirondack Mountains (thus Mountain Breaths). I live in Upstate NY with my supportive husband and have three precious sons..

  1. Nice photos, especially of sunsets, my favorite time of day. But the falcons are absolutely stunning! Thanks.

  2. Those are fantastic images, Debbie. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Fabulous pics of the Falcon and the sunsets are awesome ! My daughter is keeping indoors at her beach side apartment and she sends us the most amazing pics of their sunsets everyday.
Yes, I have an idea that you once told me you have an Ecuadorian DIL. I am Ecuadorian-American. I married my husband 45 years ago in las Vegas, Nevada cause I lived in Westwood, LA. I'm from Astoria-NY. Hubby always lived here and so I moved and I have loved Cuenca-Ecuador since. I blog for 10 years all the way from here. Unless I was traveling.
We are now in confinement indoors. What sad, dangerous and uncertain times the world is facing and I am very worried.
Hope and pray to God for a cure, or a vaccine is found ASAP !
    Many blessings my friend.

  4. Such amazing photos Deb. Beautiful photos help during this time, thanks for sharing.

  5. Gorgeous photos!! What a beautiful screen saver that must be. The falcon is beautiful! We have the several Peregrine falcon nesting boxes on buildings in Milwaukee and neighboring areas near the lake. Such fun to watch!

  6. Wow, the photos are awesome, pure pleasure seeing them. How special the Falcon is. I can how much you love taking wonderful photos. Thank you for sharing the beauty of these amazing photos. You and Joe remain safe. Hugs

I'm so happy you decided to stop by my blog. Please leave a comment as I enjoy hearing from each and every one of you!
