In October, Miss Aurora enjoyed a getaway to a few different lodges in New York and in Vermont. We enjoyed hiking, bowling, photographing the scenery and sampling some amazing culinary creations. Next up.....another culinary experience.

In late September, we boarded Amtrak to New York City where we hadn't been in almost three years. Joe is originally from NYC and his family still lives there so each time we visit we try to plan something unique that his family doesn't typically don't do.We went on a Secret Food Tour in Greenwich Village, and I highly recommend this company. I found them on Trip Advisor, all comments were favorable, and I can't wait to do another tour with them.
In September, we attended the M-C Artisan Craft Festival. It was well done, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to attend in 2023.
Our family went apple picking in the fall.
It's always exciting to take a road trip to the MacKenzie-Childs Warehouse Sale and visit the Retail Store in Aurora. We made a day of it and had lunch at Fargo. It's a social event, and my hubby really enjoys chatting with the collectors that we have met over the years. We saw Patti at the retail store which was fun! I also met a lovely woman and her mom that recognized me from Instagram. We could have talked for hours!!
Now for the best part, I hope you will enter to win this adorable key chain. All you have to do it visit Life and Linda's blog and leave a comment that you would like to be entered in the drawing.
We all thank you for your time and interest reading about our adventures.

ReplyDeleteDebbie, I admire your zest for living a full life, and applaud you for making every moment count. You are one busy lady, and it's fun to see all of these photos of what you have been doing the past few months. Wow! Thanks for sharing your adventures. You live in a beautiful part of our country. So much to see and do out and about. Your Friendsgiving weekend was especially. Lucky group!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful way to enjoy the autumn season than hiking in the northeast. Not only traveling but all the delicious food. I love you are able to visit the sales in Aurora and bump into friends. It's great how you and Joe take advantage of the great outdoors. I'm happy you got to go to NYC to visit family after years. I miss our trips there since covid but maybe another some day. Happy December Deb......

ReplyDeleteWow that snow was amazing! It became a winter wonderland for you guys. The wreath is fabulous. I can imagine how cold it was decorating though.
