I just started watching "With Love, Meghan" on Netflix. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s new series is all about sprinkling a bit of joy everyday in the kitchen, the garden and beyond.

The
sun is climbing higher each day...and shining brighter even. How I love March.... which always seems to be a drastic mix of
Winter and Spring - each battling one another for dominance!
Tulips and daffodils are still months from breaking through the soil here in Central New York, so we bought tickets to the Flower and Garden in the Capital region, and have picked an early April date for our annual Plant and Sip party.
I made Beignets with lime curd to cheer us up!
What I'm Working On:
I'm hooked on chunky chenille yarn. When the weather outside is frightful, a day spent inside with luxuriously soft yarn is my jam.
I recently attended a workshop, and the instructor has been making chunky hand knit blankets for three years. Our class of 25 caught on quickly, and we worked for three hours on our throw blankets and finished them at home. The instructor makes her blankets in Queen size. I'd love to do that some day.
This is what I accomplished in class, and the rest I did at home.
Here is my blanket and the colors I chose to match the pillows on my leather sectional.
The instructor is offering a class to make this darling Easter bunny basket. I am so tempted.
What I'm Reading:
Our book club is meeting at the beginning of April and we're reading "Eating To Extinction". Everyone who cares about what they eat will want to know its stories
What my hubby is Watching:
Joe watches much more on TV that I do and is watching "Younger". It's about a woman in her 40's who is getting a divorce and finding it difficult to enter the workforce in her 40's. Her roommate tells her to say she is 26 years old on the job application and lo and behold she lands a job. Her knowledge in life has her peers perceiving her as an old soul. Also her peers seem to be surprised that this "26 year old" reacts to social media platforms with hesitation.
What I'm Loving:
I'm definitely ready to see winter move on. Finally, we've had a thaw and warmer weather!

Debbie, I love your chunky blanket, and think you should definitely go for bunny basket workshop!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to see a daffodil bloom. Winter is still winning. 😒
I love your chunky blanket, Debbie, and my that bunny is too cute for words!
ReplyDeleteI’m taking a watercolor class which is relaxing and enjoyable.
Hope Spring comes soon!
Debbie, how fun is the chunky blanket. The colors are great to match your decor. Love the sweet bunny basket. We have daffodils, magnolia and viburnum now. The lady banks are just starting to bud.
