Our Easter dinner table has never looked like this as I have never had Easter dinner without family. Our dining room is much too large for two people to eat, so we will eat in our sun room which is now my office as I am working from home.
We will enjoy Italian moscato with memories of our wonderful trip to Italy almost two years ago. Served in MacKenzie-Childs flutes. The cute little chick and bunny sitting on the windowsill will join us.
I recently shared the floppy-eared bunny napkins on my blog which were intended for our family dinner this year, but that didn't happen.
Joe offered to make lasagna, and made a porch delivery with his famous cannoli for family members on Saturday.
Peace on this Easter Eve
Wishing you a healthy Easter holiday...so much has changed, we have changed with it. For now, it is one moment at a time. I wish for healing and for comfort.
Happy, Healthy Easter everyone

Happy Easter, Joe & Debbie. Your table setting is a quiet reminder of still being blessed this Easter. I'm glad you're now working from home.

ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful. Although it might not be the celebration we are all used to, it will be one that most of us remember distinctly for years to come. We may as well make it as pleasant as possible. You have definitely done well with that. I know you are missing playing easter bunny to your sweet grands. Hugs!
