Stovetop Christmas Potpourri

A quick post on the day after Christmas for you. I was the first one up this morning, and there were gifts all over the living room floor. I had time alone to look through all our gifts since everything was a magical blur yesterday. We were all like children yesterday and not having to adult for the day :-) I came across this homemade gift from my niece that I didn't get to look closely at yesterday.
I pulled out my mini crockpot and my kitchen is smelling wonderful.
I plan to make these for friends next Christmas and thought I would share in case you need a unique gift, especially for the person who has everything.

  1. Love your simmer pot recipe. The flower farm with whom I subscribed this summer sold many simmer pot kits through the holiday season. I didn't get one, but hope they'll still have them available this weekend at the market. It does make a great gift!

  2. I gave those to two friends one year, but didn’t package them as beautifully as your niece did! What a good idea to use your mini crock pot. Enjoy your lovely scented home.
